- Idea for a Great-Smelling Home

For those winter evenings try mulled cider, with apple cider, a few spices, you can even add rum or brandy and make it a fun night. 

- Humidity & Dust Mites

Keep your house at below 50 percent humidity,  Even a little bit of dusting can help decrease dust mites. 

Low and high humidity levels can dust issues.  Low humidity can cause a dry throat to static electricity.  The static will attract dust making the dust stick, and needing to be wiped down more often. 

Open a window for a hour to decrease high humidity.  Dust mites seem to thrive between the temperatures of 68 to 77 degrees (per the Asthma & Allergy Foundation) .  High Humidity can cause an increase and make an ideal environment for dust mites.  Surprising enough there can be roughly  over 19,000 dust mites in about half of a teaspoon of house dust, according to the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.  These little guys are also a common allergen.
